Also they have some of the quietest fans available, if you need to silence your rigs.
Those SilentX case fans are impressive. 11dB and 14dB are virtually silent and I know of no other 12cm case fans that blow 58cfm of air at just 14dB.
Anyway, those that care for quiet yet adequate OC performance, this could be for you.
I am thinking of replacing the 4 x 80mm fans ($16 each for LCD models) in my SF-201T with SilenX, and this Heatsink with 120mm fan for my soon to get Opteron 175 instead of stock cooler.
Also, would not mind seeing what is involved replacing 120mm fan within my new Antec TruePower 550. I need to check to see how difficult it is to replace, and then even PSU which is fairly quite will be more so.
My first Athlon build since one before last, the XP1800+ I want it to be very quiet and cool, compared to my P4 Prescott system it will replace, girls will get it.
That's one heavy biatch. Looks a lot like the Zalman...except for the bent shape of the fins. There also seem to be a little more separation between the fins. Coming with a good fan is a definite bonus plan, I guess you're planning on doing some heavy OCing with your Opty. Do you know if the Optys are coming with the same HSF as the A64s?
NOt for sure, but I have had an audible Prescot for a year, then a noisy Athlon XP before that.
I want a slick AMD rig to represent all AMD is when I show it and play it.
So I want it to have plenty of cooling at as low a level as I can get barring watercooling at this point.
And I want to see what it will OC to, then run it at around a 10 to 12% OC full time
