lol.... anyone who took a simple firexracker and then glued the chip to the socket could produce the same affect.... and not to mention 1) a duron at 3.8?? impossible even whith phased, their artechiture don't allow for something like that 2) the cpu fan had stopped spinning b4 they took the HSF off, so how can ya apply 4.** V to a chip and not have at least the cpu fan spinning? 3)the explosion was too "clean" had it produced the effect of shattering the cpu it would have more dark areas in the socket, not just a hol (again some sort of explosive have to be used... 4) when the damned thing flew it flew up, not shattered, they must have broke the chip later on.... (hence the cut)

You think it was a POS because it exploded.
I think it was a truly amzing chip because it would post @ a 3X OC, with 2.5X overvoltage, and run CPU-Z, on pasive cooling.
We cant bothe be right. Find an Intel chip that can do that, and I'll say you are right.

If you read this post and believe AMD is a POC, and decision to buy Intel from now on is made... Say La Vee.
I think it is funny and good entertainment myself, but I am very open minded, mind you, and find meltie rather entertaining and harmless.

Besides, everyone knows that if you want reliable and very close to the fastest with long runtimes error free computing, Intel is the way to go, and if you want the fastest at the risk of a few errors and reboots AMD is TOPS, just watch out for the flying shrapnel!!!
