For all of you still playing 1.5 and not looking at the steam forums.
WON will be switched off by the end of the summer.

Have fun while you can because it will be cheat filled NO-Key servers
only for 1.5 soon

So are they going to upgrade players PCs that can't handle Steam, to help with
the "transition"? ;-)

Errrrrrrrr...............

1) WON authentication does not stop cheating at all.
2) They've been saying they'll turn the WON servers off since Sept last
year. Everytime the "turn-off" date arrives they put it back 3-6 months.
"End of Summer" is even more vague than usual.
3) Steam is utter shite.
