When trying to make a new VPN connection with XP the options about "dial-up"
and "vpn" are grey. Whats up?

1) Create new connection
2) Connect to the network at my workplace
3) now the "dial-up" and "vpn" are grey

I am having this exact same problem and would love tos ee a post about how to
fix it. I have a desktop and a laptop, both connected to the Cable modem and
I have Administrative permissions on each.

The laptop allowed me to create this connection and then I was easily able
to Remote Dekstop into my computer at work.

the desktop is showing both of these options as greyed ut as well, no idea
how to get this resolved.

Please help!
