Hi - I'm trying to use virtualdub or virtualvcr to record aud/vid to
harddrive. I want to compress the audio to mp3. I've installed the
lame encoder as per instructions (ie - right click on ini file and
select install). The lame encoder does appear in the pulldown list
inside virtualdub (ie - in the audio setting on the main page used to
set the conversion from an input file to an output file). However it
does not appear in the pulldown from the capture screen. It also does
not appear in the pulldown for the audio compressors in virtualvcr.

I've have searched the entire internet (twice!) and cannot even find
someone with the same problem (let alone the solution). Does anybody
know how to get the lame compressor to appear in these pulldowns so I
can directly record in mp3 format? Also, for future reference, is
there something that must be done for any other future compressors
that are added?

Thanks in advance.
