How do I create a restore CD for my new laptop?

It's been a while since I bought a new laptop. I was a bit surprised to find that my new HP G32X not only comes with no restore CDs, but there seems to be no way to make any such CDs.

I can build a disk that is supposed to help me recover from a crash, but I can find no way to re-install the original system.

Frankly, I find this a bit unfair. Having to rebuild a system is not an especially uncommon occurrence. But I digress.

Can anybody help me figure out how to create a restore disk?

Is there not a folder in Start/Programs that says HP. Inside that look for tools /create backup/restore CDs or somthing similar.

this is a windows 7 feature it works quite well!
