Function Keys don't work in Remote Desktop

honestly don't know, but you could try changing the Keyboard option on
the Local Resources tab, that you see when you click Options on the
Remote Desktop Connection dialog box. my understanding is that this is
designed primarily for key combinations such as alt-tab, but that's all
this non-expert can think of. maybe somebody smarter than me will
come along later with a solution like a registry tweak or something.
