I7 3770k Minecraft 110FPS ONLY!!??

The title says it all, i have optifine installed and im playing with a i7 3770k and a gtx680 OC. and almost everywhere i walk or fly im only getting 110 to 140 Fps. i thinks it is a little bit weird, i expected more... is this normal?

specs:

i7 3770k @ 4.4Ghz
msi twinfrozr gtx680 OC
16GB Vengeance (2x8)
128gb ssd
1000gb hdd
h80i cooling
Windows 8

That is pretty normal. That is quite high FPS as well so you should not be worried at all. Even SLI 680s get about the same performance as you do.

oke haha, not that i need more but still. and if i have shaders installed, do you think i would still be able to record with 60fps?

Not too sure about that. Those shader mods can be pretty intensive. If i had to guess, i would say yes.

yea you should be able to record with shader mods, also a fps cap was added into minecraft so that notch's computer would overheat when testing it, also you should have vsync on always it often gets rid of lag spikes
