Help restoring Desktop Icons

hi guys

i am new to the windows 7 ..

i removed program and tried to remove everything about it

so i removed mistakly the all users folder which contains the Links, shortcut, folder, fils etc... (removed it from the recycle bin also)


i tried fixing it , but with no success ...

tried also recovery programs they show the director but not help much......

i really need someone expert in win 7 tell me if there is a way i can restor the files

maybe win 7 have backups files , links /???

any ideas?

if you dont have any backups, and emptied the recycle bin,and recovery programs cant find it, youre screwed and we cant help you.
shortcuts are made from existing programs and you could make new ones, but if you removed the program you cant, unless you reinstall program.

you coud tray system restore it is app that comes with windows and it is basicly used to restore all settings and data to erlier time when pc was working coretly
just go start all programs accessories system tools system restore and select some date before you messd up and wait it should restart pc and when it boot agein check if evrything is ok

i fixed it man

instead using "System restore", i used i used a program called "shadow copy"

which can open "restore points" made by "system restore"

than you can see all the files within the "restore point"

soyou can restore specific files instead using " system restore"

and restore thing you dont want.....

its really good program i recommend about it
