Firewall

MY computer is telling me that Windows Firewall is off or set up incorrectly. But when I open up the Firewall Page in the control panel, it shows "These settings are being managed by vendor application NORTON FIREWALL PROVIDER." Does that mean I have a firewall set up? What do I need to do?

Sounds like you have one of the many versions of Symantec or Norton security products running. That application is providing the firewall function vice the Windows internal firewall. As long as you have a functioning firewall, you are fine.
