Wired network is fine but the wireless part don't work. This happened seems
after applying XP SP2 to my notebook.
I have an Intel 2011b network card installed in my Dell Inspiron 4100
notebook and everything fine in the past. I can see all APs aroung me and I
can't get connection with them. It wait for a long time with getting IP from
the AP and finally disconnected. I have already test with my 3com AP2000,
and Level-one 2400tx boardband router. Finally, trying my new Linksys-G
broadband router.
I have tried to turn on and off the WAP on both the notebook and the router,
the results are the same.
For a moment, I guest my Intel card is dead and try using a CISCO pcimia
wireless card. Don't know whether it's luck or no luck, the results are the
same.
I plug the wireless card to another notebook with Win2k, it work fine.
