Connecting from Work Network to home

Forum Windows XP : General Discussion Connecting from Work Network to home

Can connect from home to network remotely, but when I try to connect to home
computer it is coming up with:

"The client could not establish a connection to the remote computer" and
lists 3 possible reasons

3389 outbound is not blocked

When I ping the home computer (which is on) it doesn't respond. Any advice
would be great.

Thanks

3389 inbound on the host matters.
If the hosts are behind a router, are the ports forwarded and are you using
the router's IP?

responsible for your actions/problems/solutions. Know what you are
getting into before you jump in with both feet.
