good editing program for ogm and mkv files

i used to make anime music videos (basicly splicing multiple video
files together with an mp3 song in the backround) with my hordes of avi
files, i kinda stoped for a while and have since almost completly
replaced all of my avi files with dual audio/subed mkv or ogm files.
but this presents a problem as i used to use ulead video studio to make
my music videos, ulead does not suport these formats, niether does
pinnacle, and i havent been able to find a plugin or hak in order to
fix this,
so my question is. does anyone know of a good video editing program
similar to these two that i can use that suports mkv and ogm file
formats? or is there a plugin or hak that will allow pinnacle or ulead
to recognize these and edit these file formats? i used virtual dub mod
for a while but i havent been able to use it for making music videos,
ssoo i would rather not have to use that. so ya, any sugestions would
be grreeaatt.
