I am having trouble with my Remote Desktop Connection.

Even though I have it checked off, my local printer doesn't show up on the
printer list of my remote desktop.

My hard drives do.

Is there something else I need to do?

Thanks.

Did you enable Printer redirection in the local resources tab of the
Remote Desktop connection?

Are you logging into a domain ? GP (AD) might be disabling remote
printer mapping.

OK, what type of printer is it? Is it a multifunction USB printer?
These types generally have problems with RD printer redirection
(although it should still show up).

It is an HP deskjet 450 and it is connected via parallel, and it is not a
multifunction printer.
