Hi,
I installed the DVDWS trial version on a computer that was collecting
dust:
WinXP home SP2
AMD 1500+ cpu
NVidia2 chipset MB
512MB
ATI AIW9800pro
Maxtor 120GB 7200RPM 8MB cache HD
Captured movie with AIW at Compatible DVD rate so no re-encoding is
done by Ulead. I add the video and create a DVD video file (no menus).
The program does not re-encode the video file, just creates the .VOB
files. Burned DVD from the created DVD Folder and the audio is
horribly out of sync. Played the original .MPG file and all is well,
played the .vob files created by Ulead and they are out of sync.
Tried creating the DVD folder on both the C & D partitions same
results.
DMA is enabled, HDD is partitioned into 2 parts, one for the dvd. For
a test I installed a friends copy DVDit, created DVD from same mpg
file with no sync problems. So it would seem the hardware is up to the
task.
Installed the Ulead software on another system with 3.02 P4 cpu &
Intel MB. The rest of the system is the same but has 2 Maxtor HDD's.
Ulead created .vob from same mpg file works fine.
Does the Ulead have a problem with AMD, Nvidia hardware, Do I need a
second HDD? Anything to try to resolve problem. Don't want to tie my
main computer up creating DVD's.
