I want to create a picture in picture effect (a small video clip playing on
top of another full size video clip) and I want the small video clip to have
a drop shadow.

I put the small video clip on track 2, use video motion to make it smaller.
This works fine, I get the PIP effect.

But when I apply the video effect "drop shadow", no drop shadow appears
except when I check the box "show shadow only". Do I have to do something to
the transparency setting (it's set to alpha)?

If someone could give me a clue or point to a tutorial, that would be great.
Thanks.
