Hello,
I have an issue with encore's motion menu. When the menu is static the
image quality is totally fine (including the static avi, photosop
layers, text etc) However as soon as i render the motion menu and then
preview the whole menu looks blurry and there is a significant drop in
quality.
However when i burn this onto dvd and try it on my dvd player the
picture seems sharp.. this is not the case on my computer when it still
looks as bad as in the preview.
Has anyone faced this problem or know how to fix it.. this happens to
be my final year project which is due on Tuesday. Swift help would be
MUCH appreciated..

My idea is that your computer isn't too happy with interlaced video,
which is not unusual.
Since it plays OK on the DVD, it seems to me you must be doing it
right.
How is the project to be submitted - as a computer file or as a DVD?
If the latter, I'd say you're home free...
HTH,
Gino

hello, well i will be presenting it on the computer on Tuesday. How do
i package it so its computer compatible.. does that involve making it
all progressive?

Oh geez - unfortunately, I didn't get to my computer until this
afternoon (Pacific time).
Try making a DVD both ways and see which way works best...
Maybe even take both to your presentation, in case their computer works
differently.
Good luck,
Gino
