About a year ago, I had a P3/1GHz with Windows Me and I ENJOYED
recording TV shows from cable with Hauppauge PVR250, and edited those
MPG2 files with Ulead MovieFactory 2.5 for DVD burn.
Today, I have two PCs with Windows XP - P4/3GHz and Athlon64/3200+, and
I have problems with video pixelation and audio-sync in both PCs using
the same Ulead MovieFactory 2.5 (and 3.0 also).
I talked to Ulead Tech Support and they recommended (a)de-check a box
"do not convert compliant MPG files", (b)run msconfig and disable all
startups. This solves the pixelation problem - while adding a
tremendous amount of extra time; but it does not solve the audio sync
problem.
Could it be that XP takes up too much whatever as to create this
problem? If anyone out there have this problem and have solved it,
please share your solution with me and please send me a direct e-mail
copy dglwow@earthlink.net
Secondly, what other program(s) that do you use/would you recommend in
place of Ulead MovieFactory - preferably freeware or shareware? I mean
from a big MPG2 file, do some small editing, and convert it to VOB
files for burning.
