I've got an aggravating problem. We have a WinK AD domain with Startup
scripts and GPOs that apply while starting up. The problem is, if we
take a laptop home, and attempt to use it off the network, or on a home
network, the systems attempt to run all of the scripts like they were
still connected to the work network which is 15 minutes or more due to
the timeout value of startup scripts on our network.

The only way you can boot systems off the work network quickly is to
disable all network adapters before shutting down, then enable them
once logged in. It seems that the systems are not detecting that a nic
is disconnected or if it's out of the AD site.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Joe
