Hi,

I'm trying to convert a .wmv file to .avi. Everything works fine if I
use the PCM audio codec. But I would like to use LAME as Audio
encoder. I installed it (ACM inf file) and I can select LAME as Audio
encoder.

But I can't select any of these parameters like 44kHz, 16Bit and so
one. And so I can't convert the .wmv file because STOIK tells me about
the missing parameters.

Anyone knows this problem? Is there something wrong with the LAME
and/or STOIK installation? Anyone who was successful in using LAME?

I don't want to use the PCM Codec, because it doesn't compress very
good. Maybe someone knows an other free audio codec with good
compression which can be used with STOIK?

VirtulDub doesn't work for .wmv files.

My System: Win XP Prof. SP2, Athlon XP2600, 512MB RAM, STOIK video
converter 2.1 and lame 3.96.1

Thanks for help!
Hagen
