I disconnected Ethernet cable due to possible Trojan threat

Hello,
I can't reconnect my pc to internet via ethernet cable now. I'm using Win 7. The internet is working for my wireless laptop, so it has to be a pc issue. Any suggestions?

What makes you believe there is a Trojan in the first place?

If you seriously believe you have a Trojan, run a virus and malware scanner and hope they can fix the issues. The ones they cannot fix you might be able to do by hand if you are knowledgeable and patient enough. If all else fail, just reinstall the OS, it will be clean, but make sure you don't re-execute the executable that got you infected in the first place.
