Connecting WinXPSP2 clients to Win2003 Terminal Server. The Client will not
redirect local printers using RDP 5.1.2600.2180, which is mstsc.exe found in
%systemroot%\System32 on the XP PC. I install RDP v.5.2.3790 from MS
WebSite and it works. Problem is the new version installs in c:\program
files\remote desktop and leaves the broken version in %systemroot%\system32.
This caused me about 8 hours of troubleshooting to get client printer
redirection working in a XP to 2003 Terminal server environment. Microsoft
should fix this, any comments?
