NeFramework problem

I was reinstalling all of my programs when I came to my Video program Vegas
5 which
stopped & said that to run it needed NET.Famework to run. I recalled that I
had this downloaded this before & had a copy on a disk. I tried running it
but it said that there was an error with no more explanations given. Any
ideas to that the problem is as I don't wish to download again if I can help
it since my connection is only 28KBS.

the ..net framework is MS new code base and needs to be on your PC for
Vegas 5. go to Sony or MS to learn more and download.

Unfortunately, no. If the one you have doesn't work then the only place to
get one is download it. I suppose you could buy Visual Studio .NET but
that's a bit much for just a framework.

I think the .Net framework can be downloaded by itself though..

Yes, but its big and at 28K its a lifelong project.

Phone up a buddy with broadband, ask them to D/L, put on CD and send it
to you.
