I have a problem with most of the current video media player
software. You cannot fast forward easily! Some programs have a little
slider at the bottom where you can pick a position at the point in a
movie that you desire. However, this does not work with a remote
control.
So my idea is to set up chapters possibly every minute or 30 seconds.
However, I need to convert to DVD or VCD in order to do this. I don't
want to encode again. Is there anything that allows me to create an
external file similar to a subtitle file that contains chapter
information? Or is there an easier way to fast forward?
