Yeah, I read some details on this new gizmo in Time and power consumption is interesting on these things.

I'll bet its the 'must have' on every cool - (or should that be stupdily rich) - kids Chritmas wish list.

It does look trendy though.

Edit by Bomber: PS. Rich, I just caught your comments on your daughter wanting one; I didnt realise and meant no offence with that half-baked comment about cool kids or rich kids wanting one etc. Just a gag. :)

Are you high? what are you talking about?

the 200GB ipod is a modified one and you can't buy it.

With power consumption are you talking about regular i-pod nano's and other things that are actually able to be purchased?

they are tested with everythign turned down and off....its bascially the best case senerio...my buddys i'pod micro lasts abut 5hours...6 if he doesn' switch songs at all.... Its rated for 12. Usually cut the time in half.

lol.

Nah mate, I'm not high. :)

Yeah, thats what I meant about the power consumption being different to the stock testing etc. on the model reviewed.

The model I was looking at looked similar so I just assumed. I looked at it, thought it was pretty trendy, and went from there.

I understand now that its different so thanks.

Just get a 500GB drive. That'll cost you $187,500 in fines.

i would hate to see somoene get caught with 500GB of movies...
