RDWC Access Limitation

Is it true that unlike RD, RDWC will not allow a user to direct a
session to a specific port behind a router, and that the only
alternative is to use the "daisy chain" method whereby the remote
computer using the default port (e.g., 3389) becomes the intermediary
for access to another computer on the LAN?
