Does anyone know what this means?

Originally I have DVD Architect 2.0 installed on a W2k machine. Well
it is gone. I installed Windows XP Pro - now I get this error.

Error:

Sony DVD Architect
Version 2.0 (Build 94)
Exception 0xC0000005 (access violation) READ:0x4A34004 IP:0x0427440
In Module 'aviplug.dll' at Address 0x1410000 + 0x17440
Thread: FileThread ID=0xB08 Stack=0x3ECD000-0x3ED0000
Registers:
<deleted the register info...>

Is this a problem with the system or the application?

Does this mean anything to anyone - any correction?

Thanks,

Lots of suggestions but no real solution. Sorry :-(
Are you running the latest version (2.0b)? If not, grab it and see if
that solves your problem.
This error has shown up a few times on the Sony Vegas/DVDA forums and
the usual suggestion is to contact customer service at
http://tinyurl.com/3xxq4
Make sure to send them a copy of your crash dump.
If you've installed Sound Forge, Acid or a frameserver app, try doing a
re-install and see if that helps.
It's also been determined that bad RAM can cause this.

The most obvious thing to try is to reinstall DVD Architect and see if
that fixes the problem. It is not unknown that applications might
experience some problem in an XP upgrade.
