I have a computer running XP home that I want to connect to but it
seems that you can’t use windows’ software to do this. I have an XP
Pro cd so if anyone knows the files or whatnot that I would need to
put on the Home computer to allow access via RDP or any other way to
do it, that would be great. Thanks, Shaun.

Look at using UltraVNC with its encryption plug-in as an alternative.
