There was a Nightline program on June 15th that is possible to view on
the internet. It is a 30 min. program on child worker abuse around the
world.

Is it possible to save this program from the internet onto a dvd disk?

If so, how is it done?

best, Aaron

Possibly. There are many programs that are able to rip streaming video
from websites and store it on your hard drive. What's the URL?

It's not even streamed, so you can create a simple HTML file like this:

<html>
<body>
<a
href="http://www.stolenchildhoods.org/mt/videofiles/nightline_0615.mov">Stolen
Childhoods</a>
</body>
</html>

Open it up and right-click on the link and select "Save Target As" to
copy the link target to your hard drive. (In Firefox, the menu item is
called "Save Link As.")

From there, you just need to re-encode it and author it to a DVD. I
use some relatively expensive software from the TMPGEnc line (Pegasys,)
but you might want to check www.videohelp.com for recommendations on
free software.
