.....Nero Sound Trax and Wave Editor look like they're going to start (I see
the "hourglass" ), but then just seem to "die". All the other applications in
the Suite run fine. I've uninstalled/reinstalled everything a couple times,
but no luck with these 2 applications. I can see the folders in Program
Files for these 2 applications including the executable file.

These applications have run previously on my desktop w/out problem.

However, when I check System Info > Software, it doesn't appear that these 2
applications are recognized.

I'm running Windows XP Pro, with SP2. Plenty of RAM, HD space. AMD 2800+.

If I look in Windows Task Manager they're running as "processes".....I've
also had a similar problem installing Pinnacle Studio V.9 for a USB analog
capture device I just bought..i.e. the application won't boot.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated....

I have the same problem. I worked with Nero support for awhile and
sent them numerous Info files but they soon just stopped responding.
My guess is that they have heard of it before but just don't know the
cause. If you find out anything, please post. :-)
