Hi,

I'm new to this brilliant program 'Avid Xpress DV', I'm working on
version 4.6.
I've used 'Premiere' in the past, but I find Avid so much better and
reliable. Even though I've got this probably stupid problem :

I've got several chunks of video(about 30) on 3 video tracks, is there
a way to select all of them at the same time in order to move them
around the timeline or do I have to hold down 'shift' and click on
every single one(which can be pretty frustating), something like the
'selection tool' in premiere where you draw a rectangular marquee to
select everything that you want.

any help appreciated.
Thanks and sorry if this have been answered in a previous po

These kinds of questions are best asked in the user forums at Avid.com
(under the "support" item in the menu at the top of the homepage). There
aren't that many Avid users here, but you'll find a whole community of them
there.

Quick answer....yes, you can lasoo the clips, but you have to be in the
right selection mode to do it (red arrow).
