That's an aggressive build. How often do you upgrade?

Wouldn't you think that he would be in danger of bruising his ankles with an E-Penis that big .

My dual 550 rig lasted 5 years, one now on is going to game rig for girls, and has parts from 3 years to 1-1/2 years old in it.
I expect this will be it for about 3 years.

Trying just to get the best for my money, russ.
Usage will be autocad, movie editing, office apps and gaming.

You know what you want. I suggest checking out the bargain websites to see if there are surprise deals. bensbargains.net being one of them. I also think anandtech's hotdeals section is a good one to check as well as the real time pricing thing they got over there.

LMAO!!!!!

I was going to say, that is a very pricey but snazzy rig.

Is that US dollars? Sheesh Rich, why dont you buy a new Mercedes Benz while you're at it - something nice to transport that up-market rig in.

Thats a nice cooler i guess....but i am still very curious why you dont get the SI-120. You can chose your own fan for quiet, power, and such....and it cools better then that Zalman.

TT Big Water SE $93

Considering this for CPU cooling. I think this will fit inside case, and will be better cooling than previous, and still quiet.

What say ye?

Your building above 90% of the people here... If water makes you happy, go for it.....

Yeah, I am pretty stoked about it! And it will be the last major build for me for a few years.
And historically, it is not that much. I am getting much more bang for the buck than my $5,000 Dell dual P3-550 with 2 SCSI 9gig drives and FireGL graphics was.

Well, just because you paid through the nose on a Dell doesn't mean squat to me of which was way over the top to start with....

Your talking to people that put $1000 to $1500 in a machine... Most learn how to build better cheaper... You'll learn one day....

But Hurray for me fuck, is a good attitude to have....

Back then a decent machine was $3000 from Dell. Some of us wheren't building our own rigs 7 years ago.

I built mine back then, but I had a few years past school on me at that time....

Building your own rig wasn't really as mainstream until the internet resellers popped up.

LOL!!!!

Gosh, how embarrassing for me.

RC I aint trying to get under your skin. Sorry for rubbing you the wrong way. I make money with my computer, that is how I afford it. I also spent $42k for a frikkin robot, but I did not build it myself. I have only built about 8 rigs to my credit, and one was under $900, but this one is going to be my main rig, that is why I am putting so much thought into it.

Anyway, comments on rig, negative or positive are appreciated.
Thanx.
