Using the RDC Client

Two questions. First, my RDC session pops up in the middle of my local
session every so often, a real pain.

Second, is there a way to configure RDC so that I can ALT-Tab between local
apps and my RDC desktop, i.e. like I can do between Citrix publish apps and
local apps?

I don't quite understand the first question other than is someone trying to
RD into your machine while your logged on?
