I have an interesting item I hope someone can help with. We have been
using Pinnacle Studio Plus version 9 (now 9.4.3) for over a year with
little difficulty. However, recently we encountered an unusual problem
we can't seem to resolve.

We have a a movie box which has both a Sony digital camcorder and VCR
connected. For some unknown reason, everything still works except the
VCR. Whenever we attempt a capture, XP beeps and reacts as if a device
has been connected and then disconnected. The capture appears to
increment in disk space but when you stop the capture nothing is ever
there. If we use Movie Maker, we can capture video so we know the
connection is working.

Any ideas? This seems to have happened recently but we honestly having
done a capture in awhile. I don't know if Microsoft updates may have
caused the problem or if it is easier than that.

Can anyone help?
Frank
