Hey, I am trying to set my virtual memory higher and for a while it has run fine, but I keep having really high disk usages. I looked up why and apparently it was a problem with my RAM. I have 8GB of DDR3 ram in my desktop but it says that my minimum/allocated amount is 4603 (MB)... what have I done wrong?

For normal usage 8Gb is more than enough, you wouldn't even need a Pagefile (Virtual memory).
Open Task Manager (Rt click Taskbar) and see under Processes what is using all your RAM. Presumably the 4403Mb is the size of Pagefile Windows has allocated, and shouldn't be required, but the high HDD activity would suggest it is being used frequently when something gobbles up your RAM...
