Hello all, im very new to the Pocket PC and I am impressed. I do have a
perculier problem that I cant get my head around. Please can someone help.
I have a desktop with dialup Internet connection (Shared), USR 802.11g
wireless card running XP pro.
A Laptop, also XP pro and USR 802.11g card and bluetooth dongle
These both connect via a USR .11g Access Point, Internet traffic is directed
to the Desktop shared connection
All working lovely.
I have an iPAC 5555,all the latest updates applied. Active sync is set up
with the laptop via Blutooth or cradle. Also no problem. Using Active sync
my iPAC gets full network priveliges. IE, POP3, everything works.
I have a GPRS connection via bluetooth. Also everything works
Now for what doesnt.
I can connect my iPAC to the Wireless Network AP no problem. File transfer,
Terminal services, POP3 account all work on the network but
Messenger and IE will not.
Messenger will not connect, but IE is the strange one that has got me
stumped. I assume they are linked problems.
I can open Google (I visited this while on Active sync connection and it is
cashed) do searches and get the results sent to me, but I cant open any
other site. Not one. Damned strange.
I have changed every setting ( and back again ) in an effort to sort this
but it has gotten the better of me.

Hi,
Did you set the network connection to Work before synchronizing? Do you
have a partnership with 2 PCs? If so then you need to launch ActiveSync on
the Pocket PC and click on Tools - Options and make sure the correct PC is
selected.
