I have an old Casio Cassiopeia with CE3.0 on it. If i install the current
version of ActiveSync on a 2000 box will it work with this device or do i
need to find an older version of ActiveSync (which im having trouble
finding)?

The current version should do. Casio is one of the major OEMs whose device
IDs are shipping in the downloadable ActiveSync.
