Caching files for offline use: XP Home vs. XP Pro

Looking for some guidence.

When reading description of working with offline files (on the XP Home
laptop) it eludes to being able to select mapped network drives to
syncronize. However, I can find no way to add the network drive to the Sync
Manager.

On my XP Pro desktop I have an option (when selecting sharing on a folder)
to cache files for offline use. This option is not avaiable on the XP Home.
Is there no way to cache files in XP Home?

Here is what I am trying to do:

I have a common Outlook pst file on the XP Pro desktop that is being shared
and cached. On the laptop I have mapped the shared network folder and
redirected Outlook to use that file. I would like to have access to the pst
file on the laptop when off line/network. Can't seem to find a way to place
the mapped network drive (on the laptop) in the Sync Manager.

(P.S. Using SP2 on both)
