My voicemail system forwards messages as WAV email attachments to my email
account. My 5555 can receive and see the file and even tries to play them
when double-checked but nothing can be heard. I can play mp3 fine via Media
Player on the 5555 so the speaker is fine. The files play fine on my desktop
system. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

The Pocket PC can't play all the possible WAV formats that the PC can
handle. If your voice mail system allows you to change the format used, set
it to some other format.
To get an idea which formats are supported, go to Start/Settings/Input and
select the Options tab.

I am having the same problem. I looked and I cannot change the wav
format. Is there any way to fix this? The format is IMA ADPCM. Thanks
for any help.
