Can i use family pack for new build?
Last response: in Windows 7
Hello, im about to do two new builds and would like to upgrade one existing system. Can anyone tell me if a family pack will allow me to do this, or do i need to buy two separate copies of win 7 for the new builds. Thanks!

The family pack is only for upgrading existing operating systems.
New builds require a full licence, unless you own a full retail version of a previous os that has been removed from a previous pc.
OEM systems are not transferable.
To make things more complicated OEM licence conditions have changed, not to our advantage. Read the post at this link.
