Well if anyone knows anything about this kind of problem, I would greatly appreciate your advice! My monitor is doing some strange stuff, after it's been aon a while it starts to get blurry, and horizontal lines randomly jump around on the screen. This made me think I need a new monitor, but then one day I lifted up on the top part of the border (monitor case) of my screen and it quit! To my surprise it does it when I press down on the top of my monitor, and stops when I lift up! Any ideas on how to fix this are more that welcome! Thanks!

My guess would be a dry joint/dodgy connection.

A simple job for a repair shop, given that the fault is easily demonstrated.
