Hi.
I have got a MSI K7N2 Delta ILSR motherboard which has a
pin head for front usb connection, which is great.
I've just got a 7 in 1 card reader that needs to use the
same pin head usb connection that my front usb's are
using, so as it seems i cannot have both.
My question is, if i wire both the usb and the card reader
together then plug them onto the mo/bo pin head will they
work. ( i would only be able to use one at a time i guess
because of conflicts) but before i cut the wires does any
one know if it will work.? Or shall i just get an
external usb card reader.
Many thanks for your help.
Phill

Xp will automatically install drivers for the 7 in 1 card reader. Most 7 in
1 card reader have 4 slots so you would see 4 new drives. If you were then
to plug into the other wired together USB port you would get an error.
Many 7 in 1 card readers also contain a regular USB cord which you can run
to the back of your case. You can then cut a small hole in your case and
put the cord through and plug it into a rear USB port.
