Hi,

Is it possible to set up monitoring on AN7 running linux?

I've tried lm_sensors 2.8.6 (http://secure.netroedge.com/~lm78/), which
probes the w83627hf chip onboard via isa bus. So I compiled the right module
in 2.6.5 kernel. Unfortunately, I get baisically no readings

w83627hf-isa-0290
Adapter: ISA adapter
VCore 1: +0.01 V (min = +0.01 V, max = +0.01 V)
VCore 2: +0.01 V (min = +0.01 V, max = +0.01 V)
+3.3V: +0.01 V (min = +0.01 V, max = +0.01 V)
+5V: +0.01 V (min = +0.01 V, max = +0.01 V)
+12V: +0.02 V (min = +0.02 V, max = +0.02 V)
-12V: -14.88 V (min = -14.88 V, max = -14.88 V)
-5V: -7.69 V (min = -7.69 V, max = -7.69 V)
V5SB: +0.01 V (min = +0.01 V, max = +0.01 V)
VBat: +0.01 V (min = +0.01 V, max = +0.01 V)
fan1: -1 RPM (min = -1 RPM, div = 1)
fan2: -1 RPM (min = -1 RPM, div = 1)
fan3: -1 RPM (min = -1 RPM, div = 1)
temp1: +0 C (high = +0 C, hyst = +0 C) sensor = thermistor
temp2: +0.0 C (high = +0 C, hyst = +0 C) sensor = thermistor
temp3: +0.0 C (high = +0 C, hyst = +0 C) sensor = thermistor

Anybody got the monitoring working on that mobo in Linux?

lm_sensors works fine for me using an Abit NF7S, Should be no different
for you with your MB. lm_sensors has drivers for practivcally every
sensor chip ou there. It is a bit fiddly - you must do the sequence of
steps exactly as per the documentation of lm_sensors, especially the
addition of some text to your boot sequence files. You really need to
RTFM to get it working correctly.
