Installing 120gb hard drive, after partitioning trying to reinstalling win
XP(only os on old hd) receive
Searching for boot record from IDE-0 then NTLDR is missing.
with win xp upgrade cd tried the below
ctrl-alt-del to ms windows xp floppy #1 disk nothing
had old Partition Magic boot up floppy disk nothing
this is a Seagate hd and used there disk software to partion hd all
ntfs,except e
c = 30, d =40, e = 10 Fat32, and e the rest of drive
tried going into boot sequence says and is stuck on boot to floppy 1st
operation, hd 2nd and cd 3rd.
HOW CAN I CHANGE THAT TO BOOT TO CD???
thought i could make c drive win XP and e drive ME,
SHOULD I INSTALL ME FIRST then REINSTALL XP??
I also have a new upgrade winxp disk, that i installed on other computer and
15 days left to activate.
