For some reason, when I plugged my crashed HDD (probably crashed boot
sector, not hardware defect) it tried to recover itself onto another
HDD, that I had attached on same IDE cable under XP machine (Dell
XPS).
It didn't solve the problem, only I could see tree structure of my bad
hdd inside good HDD.
I had no problem recovering bad "crashed" HDD afterwards, but when I
try to use ACR media tools (DOS), or Restorer 2000 Professional on my
good HDD that has WinXP "recovery" from another HDD, I cannot recover
any data, or it just shows me bad HDD's file/directory tree.
Please send me suggestions (you can e-mail me if you want),
Thanks!
