Hi there. I just ordered a new IC7-MAX3 and I'm wondering if the
onboard firewire port is powered or not? I'd like to get rid of my
belkin 3-port firewire card, but continue to be able to charge my iPod
directly through the firewire port.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

the manual shows 12 VDC and GND going out to the port so I am going to
assume that it is a powered port.
