Running a KV8. NOT Pro or MAX3.
The only options showing up for the VIA SATA is RAID-1. The auto setup
option is only showing security, RAID-1. No performance option. No RAID-0
option anywhere.
I'm running BIOS version 20, the ONLY BIOS revision available for the KV8.
All the literature for this board, on ABIT's website and everywhere else,
says it supports RAID-0. I've been swapping emails with ABIT tech support
for about a week.
They said the KV8 DOES support mode 0, told me to update the BIOS. So I
downloaded version 20, the only one available, and the one I'm already
running, hoping for a miracle. Flashed and still getting the same thing. NO
RAID-0.
My last email to ABIT was rather heated. I was tired and had a few beers.
Unfortunately I used the words LIE and DECEPTION. I'd like to hear from
somebody else that has tried running RAID-0 with this board before I use
those words again.
This isn't my first rodeo with RAID array's or ABIT. I know what I'm doing,
the board just won't do it. The option for RAID-0 JUST ISN'T THERE.
The computer runs great like it is, but I want RAID-0!
Has anybody tried flashing an older version BIOS for the MAX3 on the KV8?

Von Erik
