I just updated my IPAQ 5555 ROM off the HP site. Before doing this, I
copied all my programs to my PC. After the ROM was updated, I copied the
programs back into the Programs folder on my IPAQ. I can only launch the
programs from the Programs file. How do I ge the Programs icons to show up
in the Programs file that you access from the drop down start menu? Thanks,
Ed

You can't via the method you used. You have to re-install all the
programs. Just copying them back will not work.

Can copy shortcut to \windows\start menu and if want in
sub directory such as \games etc and in many cases will
work. But if that fails need to reinstall

The need for programs to be "installed" across the memory space is the
one thing I can't stand about PPC, and where Palm beats it hands down.
Thank god PPC is better in nearly other way.
