Acer aspire i forgot my erecovery password

i cannot get to control panel to change or set my password... i let my son use it and he changed it by not knowing what he was doing and now im locked out and cannot get pass the sign in

Unless you know how to use tools to reset Windows password, your best bet is a factory restore, press ALT-F10 during Acer boot logo. You will loose everything.

Have to have the eRecovery password in order to factory default reset. ALT-F10 onl gets you to the eRecovery console. Then you choose factory reset...if you can provide the password for that option. ALT-F10 is NOT a solution for a password reset.
