Abit failed to turn in its six-month financial report to the Taiwan Stock
Exchange (TSE) by an August 31 deadline as requested by Taiwan's Securities
and Futures Bureau (SFB) of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC). The
SFB granted Abit an additional 13 days to submit the company's 1H financial
results. Abit said that an accounting firm that was commissioned on July 20
did not have enough time to check through the company's financial
statements.
